Hessel: “Bavaria is a top location for services”

MUNICH / COBURG      service4EVU GmbH, the joint customer support company of Mainova AG (Frankfurt) and N-ERGIE Aktiengesellschaft (Nuremberg), has officially commenced operations. At the company headquarters in Coburg today, Bavaria’s Vice-Minister of Economic Affairs, Katja Hessel, the Mayor of Coburg, Norbert Kastner, and the Mainova and N-ERGIE directors, Dr. Marie-Luise Wolff and Karl-Heinz Pöverlein, will gain an impression of the work carried out by the company, which was founded back in February 2011. The new company will take over certain of the telephone services of Mainova and N-ERGIE.

“The whole Coburg region stands for quality. And this underscores the decision by the two leading German energy utility companies to set up service4EVU GmbH in Coburg. The motivated and well-trained labour force make Coburg a prime location offering ideal prospects for the future of service4EVU GmbH”, Hessel said.

The Mayor of Coburg, Norbert Kastner, emphasised: “As Mayor of the Town of Coburg, I am delighted that they have succeeded in creating over 20 new highly qualified jobs within just six months. 30 more are expected to follow by the end of this year and then another 50 by mid-2012. But I am especially pleased that service4EVU is investing in the training and instruction of its work force. The official launch on 30 September is a major positive signal for Coburg.”

Mainova director Dr. Marie-Luise Wolff underlined: “The best way to guarantee the high quality of the customer support provided by Mainova and N-ERGIE is by using staff of our own. That is why we have decided to set up a joint company, in which only excellently trained staff are employed. service4EVU GmbH is an outstanding example of how synergies are used at Thüga – the largest German group of municipal utility corporations.“

Karl-Heinz Pöverlein, director of N-ERGIE, added: “The ability to respond quickly and competently to customer inquiries will be one of the decisive success factors in the energy sector in the future. We therefore take great care in choosing our staff at service4EVU and invest time and money in comprehensive qualifications. As promised, we intend to swiftly increase our staff levels in the coming months.”
